Task 18: Design a game that members of your clan play.
The younger members of the clan, in particular kits, prefer a game that they called ‘stick-or-flower’. This is a game primarily played during Newleaf and Greenleaf for anywhere upwards of 4 players.
The game begins with the kits selecting someone to be the ‘guesser’, where they close their eyes and count to sixty, while the other players are ‘gatherers’ and one is picked to be a ‘flower-bringer’. During those sixty seconds, the cats go away and collect either a stick or a flower, everyone collects a stick except one player who collects a flower.
Once the sixty seconds are over, the ‘guesser’ opens their eyes and has to guess who brought the flower. If they guess correctly, the ‘flower-bringer’ becomes the next ‘guesser’ and the ‘guesser’ gets to be a ‘gatherer’. However, if they do not guess correctly, the ‘guesser’ remains in that role and a new ‘flower-bringer’ is picked.
While there are no strict rules of the game, the one major rule is that sticks have to be found on the floor; the cats cannot pull any sticks off of trees because the trees are still healing from the damage of the twolegs and don’t need to be made worse.
