Task 14: Give a meaning to two of your clan members’ names.
Eagleclaw – Eagleclaw received the prefix ‘eagle-‘ as part of a family tradition on her father’s side of the family in which every member is given the prefix of a bird. For example, her father’s prefix is ‘raven-‘ and her grandfather is ‘falcon-‘. This has been a tradition that has passed on for generations but Eagleclaw does not plan to pass it on to her kits, wanting to distance herself from her family. Her suffix ‘-claw’ comes from her strong fighting ability and her ability to strike out when her opponent is within range of her paws.
Sunstorm – Sunstorm’s prefix ‘sun’ came from his bright exterior that can be seen from the other side of camp. He stands out in a crowd to due the brightness of his pelt. The suffix ‘-storm’ comes from his strong skills in battle, he was described as an ‘approaching storm’ due to the havoc that he raises in battle through his tactical skills and swift agility.
